About the venue
We have a large hall, with several exits onto a large grassed area for use in the summer. The hall has plenty of natural light, and underfloor heating. It has a speaker system, with an AUX input, ideal to play your own music. There is also a whiteboard, which could act as a screen for a projector. The kitchen has the facilities to cater for a large group with a double oven, hob, two sinks, and a dishwasher. We have plenty of cutlery, although we are limited on crockery and cooking equipment.
There are four unisex toilets including an accessible toilet. The hall has 40 chairs, 6 benches and 5 tables for community users. Although the hall does not have it’s own parking, as it is in a residential area, the entrance is conveniently situated at the confluence of 3 footpaths allowing multiple parking locations. The No.
3 bus stop is 2 minutes away on Fromond Road. There is also plenty of space for the parking of bicycles and scooters on site.
Hire of the hall for community users is usually £16.00/hr, with a discounted flat rate of £50 for a half day. Overnight hire is also possible – please contact us to discuss your requirements. We would also welcome enquires about longer term hire for groups or classes – please contact us directly to discuss availability and terms. We already host a karate class on Sunday mornings.
